Disney’s Descendants: The Musical

Kickstart your month of March with an incredible performance of Disney's Descendants: The Musical, opening FRIDAY! You won’t want to miss it!

Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is based on the popular Disney Channel original movies. It is a brand-new musical, jam packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films! Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost (home of the most infamous villains who ever lived), the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island…until now. They have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

First Friday will be happening in downtown Woodland on March 1 so please plan accordingly and allow more time to park.

Content Advisory: Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a family-friendly production suitable for all ages. Parents of younger viewers should be aware of the following: some scenes include Fantasy Violence (sword fighting/moments of peril), and themes of Good vs Evil are a large part of the storyline.

Presented by Jennifer Goldman, D.D.S. and Amy Thu Tran, D.D.S., Disney's Descendants: The Musical will run March 1-17, 2024 with performances set for Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays & Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Join us for Peter and The Starcatcher Auditions!

Mark your calendars, auditions for Peter and the Starcatcher are right around the corner! This is a wonderfully inclusive, ensemble driven show with a strong creative team lead by director Bob Cooner and choreographer Darryl Strohl-De Herrera.

About the Play: A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, which contains a precious, otherworldly cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by a precocious young girl named Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training who realizes that the trunk’s precious cargo is “starstuff,” a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. When the ship is taken over by pirates – led by the fearsome Black Stache, a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own – the journey quickly becomes a thrilling adventure. Featuring a dozen actors portraying more than 100 unforgettable characters, Peter and the Starcatcher uses ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination to bring the story to life.

Auditions will be held March 10 & 11 at 7:00 p.m. For more information and to sign up for an audition time slot, click the link below.

Damn Yankees opening April 12th!

Spring is almost here and you know what that means: baseball season! And what better way to celebrate the return of America's past time than a golden age of musicals classic like Damn Yankees?

Based on the novel, "The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant" by Douglass Wallop, Damn Yankees the Broadway mega-hit and winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, hits it out of the park! The winning score by Adler and Ross and a devilish book by George Abbot have made this sporty musical comedy a true American classic.

Middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd, trades his soul to the Devil, also known as Mr. Applegate, for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. As young baseball sensation, Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life that he’s left behind.
