Damn Yankees is a modern retelling of the Faust legend set during the 1950s in Washington D.C. during a time when the New York Yankees dominated Major League Baseball. It was the dream of every Baseball Fan of that time to become the hero of his favorite major league team. But, when the Devil shows up and makes one baseball fan’s dream come true, for a price, the dream becomes more than the fan bargains for in the end.

Get in on the Big Reveal Theme: Delightful Memories!

Calling all Woodland Opera House enthusiasts!

Embark on a journey down memory lane with us as we seek your "delightful memories" of the Woodland Opera House. Whether you've graced our historic stage, reveled in the magic from the audience, served as a dedicated staff member, or lent a helping hand as a volunteer, we want to hear about your most delightful moments.

Share the spotlight with us as we compile a community anthology, capturing the essence of the Woodland Opera House through your memories. Your stories are the heartbeat of our beloved theater, and we hope to share them at our upcoming season announcement event, The Big Reveal, on January 28th at 6:00 p.m.

Submit your stories to [email protected] by January 20th. Our staff will select five (5) stories to be shared with our audience at The Big Reveal. Your memories are the soul of our community, and this is your chance to be a part of the ongoing legacy of the Woodland Opera House.

Be sure to join us for the Big Reveal program and raffle - need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are $10 each, and (5) for $40. They will be sold at the event and can be purchased from education program students or direct from our Theatre And Dance Annex by calling (530) 650-8203 or emailing [email protected].
