School of Rock the Musical opened this past weekend to cheering crowds! Our patrons loved the show and were blown away by the incredible musical talent of our actors. If you're into a rockin' good time, don't miss out on this one. Get your tickets now!

Content Advisory: School of Rock the Musical touches upon some adult themes, such as parental pressure, dissatisfaction with one’s career, and challenging societal norms. These themes are presented in a lighthearted and comedic manner but may require some contextual explanation for younger viewers. On occasion mild profanity and slang is used, and the show prominently features energetic, amplified rock music with elements of rebellion, individuality, and nonconformity. Please take this into consideration when determining if it is appropriate for your child.

A BIG thank you to Blue Note Brewing Co.!!

Our friends at Blue Note Brewing Co., (just across the parking lot from the WOH at 750 Dead Cat Alley) have been wonderful to collaborate with. Not only have they created a commemorative beer for this show, but they're also offering a discount to patrons. And they even hosted an open to the public "Jam session" with the cast on Sunday!

Thank you, Blue Note!

In Memory of Tom Johnson

The Opera House recently learned of the passing of Tom Johnson, who worked as an independent sales representative for the WOH for almost two decades. We were fortunate that he came to us with a wealth of theatre sales experience from his time in San Diego and Roseville. Tom welcomed new patrons of the theatre by phone after their initial visit, and provided special ticket package offers. In addition, he promoted our seasons annually and our Big Reveal events.

Tom was an integral part of our marketing success. He lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, November 11. We send our sincere condolences to his family, with whom he is pictured.

TADA is closed this week in observance of Thanksgiving. Classes will resume on Monday, November 27. Have a wonderful holiday!
