Sharon Joyce Presents A Christmas Story

Saturday, September 10 at 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m.

Join the Woodland Opera House family by auditioning for the one-of-a-kind holiday production of A Christmas Story. Run dates of the show are November 18 - December 11. All roles are available for children aged 7-14 and adults. Please note: we are especially in need of Male Actors.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for youth actors, and adults immediately following from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 11th, youth auditions will be held from 1-2:00 p.m., and adult auditions thereafter from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. All auditions will take place at our 4th Street Studio (415 4th Street, Woodland).

-Come with a 1-2 minute memorized comedic monologue.

A Christmas Story Auditions

This production is directed by Cheryl Watson. With a career spanning over forty years, Cheryl has acted in and directed hundreds of productions with area theatres and colleges. In 2019, Ms. Watson retired from the classroom after teaching and directing for both St. Francis High School and American River College. Cheryl has been nominated for over twenty “Elly” awards and received the award eleven times for direction and script adaptation. In 2017, she was honored with the Elly Lifetime Achievement Award.
