CELEBRATE! A Free Concert

January 29 at 6:30 p.m.

What an exciting evening we look forward to this Sunday night! It will be a wonderful celebration, indeed. We’ll have an array of guest performers and our resident Broadway Bound performing group will be on stage - even a cameo from our Education Program! In addition, we’ll introduce you to our exciting upcoming 2023-2024 season of shows. There will be something for everyone during the evening, so be sure to bring family and friends – this is a free event.

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with Guild concessions and bar available for purchasing snacks and drinks, so don’t hesitate to come early. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Did we mention Door Prizes? Yes, those, too!!

Pictured above are just a handful of the great actors on tap, who will treat us to performances from past productions such as Mary Poppins (2015/2016 season) and The Sound of Music (2010/2011 season). Below you’ll see our Broadway "Bounders" rehearsing for their performance. They're also working on a project...maybe props for their performance? Come on out and see what they have in store!

An American in Paris

February 10 - March 5

Purchase tickets Here

An American in Paris is a stunningly beautiful show with dancing, timeless musical numbers, and a romantic story. Set in the French capital in the wake of World War II it follows a young American soldier, a beautiful French girl, and an indomitable European city – each yearning for a new beginning in the aftermath of international conflict. Inspired by the Academy-Award winning 1951 film, the new stage musical features a score by George and Ira Gershwin. Familiar songs include “I Got Rhythm,” “The Man I Love,” “Shall We Dance,” and more.

Directed by Angela Baltezore with choreography by Jacob Gutiérrez-Montoya, it's a do-not-miss! Performances are set for Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at the Box Office or online at the button below. Reserved seats are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors 62+, and $15 for children 17 and under. Balcony tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for children. Flex Pass specials and group rates are available.

Important Amazon Smile Update

We learned earlier this week that Amazon will discontinue the Amazon Smile program next month. The "Smile" program has been a wonderful way for the WOH to bring in additional funds, and it couldn’t be easier for our patrons to utilize. If you’re not familiar, when ordering on Amazon, you could place the order at amazonsmile.com and then designate the Woodland Opera House as receiver of a percentage of your order total.

We are grateful for those who have placed orders through Amazon Smile to our benefit in the past, and we ask that you continue ordering through the end of the program on February 20. When the program closes, Amazon will average our last two months of dividends and then send us a check for 3x that amount. Our feeling is that every little bit helps! Thank you, again.
