Performances of our production of Young Frankenstein will resume this week. Thank you for your understanding with our recent cancellations, and for those who needed to exchange tickets, we very much appreciate your cooperation in rescheduling with our box office.

Thursday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.*

Sunday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m.

Thursday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m.

Please Note: This show includes Adult Humor and Language. We recommend for ages 14 and older.

*Parking Consideration:

Please be aware that the Norcal Celtic Festival will take place downtown on Saturday, April 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Parking will likely be affected, so please plan ahead.

Season Tickets are Now on Sale for our 2023-2024 productions! Be sure to take advantage of the Early Bird Savings you can receive when purchasing ticket packages for our Main Series and Family Series by May 12th. We have 3 new packages to choose from that give you reserved seats to the shows you really want to see, and at bargain pricing!

 

Package A – Main Series including: The Addams Family, School of Rock, Comedy TBA, Damn Yankees, and Peter and the Starcatcher.

Package B – Family Series including: The SpongeBob Musical, The Addams Family, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical, and Peter and the Starcatcher.

Package C – All 7 of our productions.

Give now! Early Giving has begun and Big Day of Giving is just around the corner. Now through 11:59 p.m. on May 4th, you can make a difference by "Springing into Action" and making a donation to the historic Woodland Opera House.

Our goal is $75,000 and your donation will go toward these three key areas of need:

  • the full replacement of the roof at our 4th Street Studio.
  • increasing our overall production budget.
  • further development of our educational offerings.

Gifts are accepted online (use the button below), by mail to P.O. Box 1425, Woodland, CA 95776, and by walk-in to our Box Office during business hours: Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Reminder: As in past years, the Golden 1 Credit Union will match donations up to $100,000 when their credit and debit cards are used.

On May 4 we will have special Power Hours from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., during which you can receive a takeaway for your donation.

See what we’ll have for you, depending on the donation amount:

  • $100 will receive a Buy One Get One (BOGO) ticket coupon.
  • $250 will be entered into a drawing for an opportunity for a Walk-on Role in our opening production of the 2023-2024 season, The SpongeBob Musical.
  • $500 will receive one Season Ticket for ALL 7 of our shows.
  • $1,000 will receive use of our 3rd floor meeting room for one private party.
  • $2,500 will receive a permanent seat dedication in the auditorium.
  • And Surprise Gift Baskets will be awarded.

Brian Lin, D.D.S. presents Through the Looking Glass Dance Showcase

Performers ages 3 - 7:

Saturday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Performers ages 7+:

Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20 at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m.

The Annual Dance Showcase is coming soon! Offering an array of performances that highlight different age groups, our Through the Looking Glass theme will put dancers in an amazing spotlight.

Ages 3-7 will perform on Saturday, May 6th at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., while dancers ages 7+ will perform on May 19-21 (Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.). To purchase tickets, check back on our website.

Tickets for the May 19-21 go on sale Monday, May 8th.

Anyone for Flowers?

We’re happy to share that flower bouquets will be available for purchase at the showcase! Gift your dancer with a beautiful bouquet by Strelitzia Flower Company! Our Opera House flower cart will be located in front of the theatre before each Dance Showcase performance - only $15 each!

Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

Ticket Sales Continue for the Dance Showcase Raffle

Our Annual Raffle to support all Woodland Opera House programming is set for Friday, May 19th! The Raffle Drawing will take place during intermission of the Through the Looking Glass Dance Showcase that evening.

Great prizes will be offered, and include: A 2-Night Clearlake Getaway, 65-inch TV, $500 Cash Prize, Cache Creek Spa Package, Dinner at Napa's TARLA Mediterranean Grill, and More!

Funds raised from this raffle will benefit all of our productions! Education productions receive funds to support tech and production costs for the following: Dance Showcase, Musical Theatre Showcases, Rising Stars productions, The Nutcracker Sweet and Show Biz Kidz productions. Season productions receive support for production tech and staffing of tech support.

From the Guild Community Outreach Opportunity

The California Honey Festival will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Heritage Plaza and along Main Street in Woodland from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Woodland Opera House will have a booth, and we are looking for a few Guild Member volunteers to hand out marketing material, answer questions, and represent the Theatre at the event. You do not need any special training nor do you need to wear black bottoms & white top to this community outreach event... just bring a positive attitude and a smile for this fun day!
