About Us

At 32 years old I began creating art; at 3 years of age Tirza, my daughter, initiated her own art career; making and selling greeting cards in my gallery. Today, at ages 45 and 6 we are co-creating together.

About 1 year ago Tirza came to me with an idea for a piece of art to add to my ongoing " A Loving Home Series." "Dada, you have to make a Strawberry piece, and this is what it has to say." "Strawberries are made of Love and so is Grandma, Grandpa, Mama, Dada..." She continued on naming all of her friends.
I stood in shock. The confidence of this little 5 year old person blew me away - and I Loved her idea. "Ok". I said, "tonight will sit and work out the details".
So that night "We talked, sketched, negotiated the text to fit on the art and began what is now a partnership. Today we have around 15 collaborative pieces.

Looking back, the progression of our working together seems natural. For the last 4 years Tirza has spent each weekend and more in my gallery creating her art, interacting with customers, and so on.

This series began with my purpose to offer universal ideals and fun to the world though the words and images my personality creates, Tirza has certainly enriched that aim. And who knows, sometimes I wonder if without her beauty in my life I may have never gotten the courage to offer up my visions and ideals.
