Mission:
The Abigail Vare Elementary School is a Pre-K-8 school in the Pennsport section of South Philadelphia which serves approximately four hundred and fifty students. Our mission is to educate, support, and challenge students within a positive learning environment conducive to meeting their academic and emotional needs. Teachers, along with parents and community partners, utilize a variety of techniques and strategies to provide a high quality education. We believe this is the foundation which will enable our students to evolve into life-long learners
