Ag Against Hunger

1140 Abbott St
831-755-1480

Mission:

Our mission is to create a connection between the agricultural community & food banks in Monterey, San Benito, & Santa Cruz counties. We collect surplus produce & distribute it to food banks who provide it to hungry people in our community & throughout California.

About Us:

We gather surplus produce from local growers and distribute that produce to food banks and local schools.

The central coast of California offers an abundance of natural resources. In the fertile Salinas Valley more fruits and vegetables are grown, packed and shipped than in any other region in the world. Yet, in the midst of this abundance there are many who are hungry. Ag Against Hunger is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1990 to provide hungry people with nutritious, fresh, surplus produce from local fields.
