Agawam Junior Women's Club


Objective:

To enrich the quality of life in our community through a variety of educational, social, and cultural projects and programs.

Meetings:

All regular meetings are held at 7:00 P.M. on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from September to June at the Agawam Senior Center located at 954 Main Street, Agawam, MA  01001.  A social time takes place at 6:30 prior to each meeting.

Membership:

Membership is open to any woman over 18 years old, living in Agawam or Feeding Hills, or any community not having a GFWC of Massachusetts Junior Club, who is interested in the purpose for which this club is formed.  All members are requested to be on at least one organizational committee each year and to support and/or participate in club fundraisers and community functions.

 Club History:

This club was organized in 1957 as a division of the Agawam Women’s Club. The original object and purpose on which the club was founded continues to be its purpose today - the advancement of public welfare and the promotion of civic and cultural interests of the women of Agawam. The GFWC Agawam Junior Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Massachusetts, Junior Membership.
