Who We Are:

Adopted by the Father: We recognize that we are only able to be his people by his grace. He has formed this community out of forgiven sinners that have been united y the blood of Jesus.

Based on the Word: We know God only because he has chosen to reveal himself to us in the Scriptures - the Old and New Testaments that make up our Bible. We seek to be guided by the Scriptures in everything we teach and do.

Centered on Jesus: Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our Savior, our Teacher, and our ord. He is the ultimate model for who we are as Christians and for who we are as a church. His life of selfless sacrifice shows us how to live. His death on our behalf frees us from the grip of sin. His resurrection means that we can face death with hope. His ascension to the right hand of God assures us that he is reigning even during these in-between times as we await his return.

Dwelt-in by the Spirit:
While Jesus was on earth, he promised to send the Holy Spirit , who would be God's continuing presence among believers. After Jesus' death and resurrection, the Holy Spirit was given as God's gift to all who follow Jesus. He dwells within believers personally and in the church corporately. He gives us strength when we are weak, gifts to serve others, and hope of even better things to come.

Engaged in the World: The church is sent by God into the world to be agents of his redemption. Though we meet to worship and fellowship, we are truly the church when we are being God's people outside the walls of the church building, in our homes, in our schools, in our businesses, and in our community. Because God's mission is to all people, we also cross racial, social, cultural, and geographic boundaries to communicate and demonstrate God's love.

Fellowshipping One Another:
In our weekly communion, we testify that we are bound together by the body and blood of Jesus. Throughout the week we support one another through life's joys and crises, and we pray with and for one another.
