The Alexander Senior Center is a county organization which provides a focal point for aging resources, as well as opportunities to extend independent living and enrich the quality of life for older adults in Alexander County.

The facility, programs and services are designed to provide opportunities for older adults to continue to remain active, to learn and to grow, and to use their talents and abilities.

Remaining active is a key ingredient to good mental and physical health. The old saying "use it or loose it" is very true. Those persons who continue to be active and remain involved with others will be healthier and less dependent on outside resources.
