What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We Believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and accepting the Gospel according to Romans 10:9-10.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live holy and separated life in this present world.

Church History:

Through Divine guidance, the Elder M. Lott came to the city of Port Huron from Detriot, Michigan in 1922. He began his work as founder of Holiness and Pentecostalism in that city.

Elder Lott began the work in his home at 2523 Little Street. Later the Lord blessed him and his faithful followers to purchase a building at 2524 Vanness Street. The Lord blessed Elder Lott labor and many souls were Saved.

After Elder Lott's leadership there were numerous successors to follow him in the years that came. Namely Elder A.D. Johnson, Elder Sanders, Elder S.C. Coles, Elder Smites, Elder J.C. Hollis, Elder G. Hill, Elder H.C. Lucus, and Elder Edward Lucas.

Under the leadership of Elder H.C. Lucus, a new edifice was purchased at 1304 10th Street.

The Church went through a dark period and on January 21, 1990, The Lord sent through Bishop C.L. Anderson Jr., Elder Vincent E. Mathews Sr., wife Evangelist Cheryl J. Mathews and family.

The Church began to experience a rapid growth. The building at 10th Street under went remodeling from top to bottom. Later the building was not able to accommodate the membership. On August 1994, The Lord blessed the congregation to purchase over one million dollars worth of property. Now the ministry is at a plateu that it never experienced before.
