Goal and focus of the AOH nationally is the preservation of the Irish culture; locally our division has been doing that for years in a number of ways. One of the more active roles has been in supporting and helping the Savannah Irish Festival every year. The festival has been running now for over ten years and I am happy to say its beginnings lie in some our AOH brethren. Over the years the festival has grown and we are pleased to say we have always been proud to help out both financially and through the time and hard work of many of our members.
