Anna Maria College, a Catholic institution of higher education, recognizes its obligation to serve its immediate community, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts , the nation, and the world through the provision of education, the preservation of learning, and the sponsorship of research.

Rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition of higher education, Anna Maria College is maintained and operated in conformity with the values of the Judeo-Christian tradition and in keeping with the ideals of its foundresses, the Sisters of Saint Anne. These ideals, which reflect the development of the total human being, also include increasing access to quality education, educational innovation, and respect for practical skills.

About Us:

Anna Maria College is a four-year, private, co-ed, Catholic, liberal arts institution accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Founded by the Sisters of Saint Anne in 1946, the College is located on a 190-acre campus in Paxton, MA, minutes from the vibrant college-town of Worcester, MA. AMC provides quality programs that integrate liberal education and professional preparation that is committed to the fundamental value of liberal arts and sciences education rooted in the traditions of the Sisters of Saint Anne.

Anna Maria College offers 35+ undergraduate degree programs and over 22 graduate and continuing education programs. AMC distinguishes itself through its career-oriented liberal arts education, prominent and responsive faculty, small class sizes, and a variety of co-curricular activities including 17 varsity sports teams. Popular majors include art, business, criminal justice, education, English, environmental science, fire science, health science, legal studies, music, nursing, political science, social work, and psychology. AMC also offers an Honors Program with unique study abroad opportunities, as well as special majors, such as art and music therapy and sport management. AMC is also a member of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, a group of 12 colleges that allows students to cross register at no additional cost.
