We offer discounted full season annual memberships which include pork and egg subscriptions as well as access to our beautiful garden goodies offered in the summer months. I have been growing and enjoying large scale chemical free gardening since I was half as high as the bee hives on my great-grandfathers farm. This is the second year we will be operating as a CSA, but it was just the logical transition in the transformation of our heritage farm. We love it!! We pasture raise rare breed heritage hogs, icelandic sheep, muscovy ducks, royal palm and blue slate turkeys, and icelandic chickens - free from hormones and antibiotics. We have been blessed with acreage and are commited to making the best use of it, including 7 acres of garden. In addition to the tomatoes, peppers, green beans, melons, squash and sweet corn that we all recognize as staples in the average garden, we also offer a wide variety of heirloom vegetables that simply can't be found just anywhere. These include but are not limited to things like red and green noodle beans, tigger melons, bok choy, red kuri squash, parsnips, beets, radishes, and herbs of many varieties. The garden is home to over 15 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, and at least 10 different types of peppers and melons. Orders are customizable and the fare from the garden is diverse enough to allow for adjustments without leaving anyone feeling jilted. We don't take part in any farmers markets and we aren't marketing our vegetables to any restaurants at the moment, so our CSA subscribers aren't left with the 'left overs' of the farm. They are provided with top quality produce and in many instances we can even deliver right to your neighborhood. We have family in Rochester Hills and will provide a weekly drop off there, but can deliver to virtually anywhere between here and there including but not limited to: Metamora, Oxford, Lake Orion, Otter Lake, North Branch, and Lapeer. We also make several trips a week to Millington, and would be happy to work with you to make this a wonderful experience for everyone. We are looking forward to the opportunity to share our bounty with you and your family. CSA operates on, but is not limited to a 16 week commitment. Full shares are approx. a bushel in size, picked up or delivered weekly, and can easily provide for a family of 4-6: Half shares are the same size, but delivered or picked up bi-weekly and are better suited for families of 1-3. Please email us with any questions! While we only have 3 drop off / pick up points listed, that list will grow as we get a handle on where the most convenient locations are for our customer base. We will be happy to work with you to set up a location that is convenient for you and your family within our stated target area which includes but is not limited to: Lapeer, Tuscola, Genessee, and Oakland County Stephanie Antaya .

We operate a small heritage farm here in Silverwood, MI. We raise Tamworth, Large Black Hogs, and Gloucestershire Old Spots on pasture. Our pigs glean over 80% of their nutrition off of grass and are only supplemented 2lbs of 15% hog feed per day during the months when the pasture is readily available. In Michigan, thats about 8 months out of the year. In addition to the grass, our pigs also enjoy a heavy diet of all natural foodstuff generously donated by our friends and neighbors here in the community. A bounty of apples, walnuts, pumpkins, pears and pulp are supplied by a network of supporters to help us provide our hogs with a diverse and healthy ration. This in turn helps us provide our customers with a final product that you would have a hard time finding anywhere else.
