Mission:

The Atkins Community Club takes great pride in the community and believes we can and do make a difference.

About Us:

The Atkins Community Club takes great pride in the community and believes we can and do make a difference! We are a “501-C” non-profit volunteer organization that raises funds to assist or improve on the various needs of our community.

We do a variety of fun events! We organize and host the town’s annual celebration, Watermelon Days. It is our only fundraiser and is always a great weekend. A few other activities that we do annually are the Halloween, and the Christmas party for the community. We light the tree in the city park at the beginning of December and we have a Christmas lighting contest.

We have given back to our community and a few things that we donate to on a regular basis would be: we donate $300 on a quarterly basis for our town’s Helping Hands Food Pantry, we make annual donations to the Benton Band Boosters, Benton post prom, & Atkins PTA school carnival. We donate money to the public and school library and we give to at least three Benton Seniors a $200 scholarship. We also help a family during the Christmas season.

We would be thrilled to have you join and help with new ideas. Our meetings are at 7:00 pm on the 1st Thursday of each month at the city hall.
