Auntie Annie's Fields, LLC
A CSA share costs $65 and includes 4 whole, frozen chickens that each weigh 4.5 lbs or slightly more. The cost reflects a small savings over buying the chickens individually. You can spread your chicken pick-ups over the summer or get them all at once for a special occasion or to stock up for winter. [br] [br] You're always welcome at either pickup location: South Minneapolis or our farm 45 minutes south of Minneapolis or 15 min. from downtown Northfield.
You can feel good about eating our pastured chickens. Their feed is non-GMO and is grown without chemicals. They are truly free range so they run around outside living chickenly lives. We are unusually persnickety about keeping our chickens in a high quality pasture (which they really eat), and we are deeply committed to natural, non-toxic farming methods.
We have found that a whole chicken provides our family of four with two meals -- the chicken itself, and chicken soup that is more delicious than nourishing than anything you could buy. Check out the recipes on our website!
Our birds are processed in a USDA inspected plant. You can also visit your chickens at our farm, which is 45 minutes south Minneapolis (15 minutes southwest of Norhfield).

Members can pick up their shares in the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 2-4 PM in June July and August. (June 12 & 26, July 10 & 24, and August 14 & 28). Our pick-up location is not far from Minnehaha Avenue and 40th St. E, (about a mile south of Lake Street and a mile west of the Mississippi River)
