About Us:

Baker Park is Darien’s hidden gem.   Located off Noroton Avenue, many families with young children frequent the 11.7 acre park to utilize the playscape and play areas nestled in the corner of the park.   During the day, the park offers the town, a "neighborhood park" atmosphere, where parents and children can play and relax together.  In the afternoon and evening, the park is utilized by the Men’s and Co-ed softball leagues on the multi-purpose softball/soccer field.

Around the outskirts of Baker Park are hiking trails for residents to take walks. They offer a wide variety of tree and flower specimens to ensure a truly rewarding experience.  In the center of the park lays a large grassy area for family picnics or local teenagers to relax and play Frisbee or toss a football.

The Darien Parks and Recreation Department recently completed the construction of a new playground at Baker Park
