Vision
The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe is a house of pilgrimage and prayer to inspire in the faithful an ever-deeper devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church.

Mission
By the ministry of the Basilica, the faithful will be strengthened in the imitation of Christ and in faithful service to that King whom “to serve is to reign”.
