Our Leadership Values
(These Values are built on the given values of the authority of scripture,
Christian ethics, and the personal Christian disciplines of discipleship)

  -The Church is the hope of the world – this church is God’s instrument to change this community
  -God is the power of the Church and the leadership of His Spirit is essential to all activity – everything done in the Church must be bathed in prayer
  -Believers are gifted to do all of the ministry the Church is supposed to do – every believer in this church has a ministry role
  -The responsibility of leaders (especially staff) is to equip believers to perform their ministry – the higher the position in the Church, the greater the equipping responsibility
  -Our leadership is best expressed in team environments – leaders must be equipped to build teams and team members
  -In a team, value is expressed in interdependence – there are specific roles in teams determined by gifts and responsibility. Leaders lead, teachers teach, administrators administrate, etc.
  -To be effective we must strive for honesty in our interactions – this means more than not telling lies. It means lovingly and sensitively telling truth – even hard truth
  -Loyalty is a must – we must guard one another’s integrity, and never betray another in words or actions
