Bertrand Farm
Bertrand Farm offers two different CSA membership peograms. The non-working membership is a 15 week minnimum starting early June and has an option for delivery. Our working CSA is a not for profit educational program. It works like a cooperative. We start in Feb. and March with a planning meeting to order seed and create calendars of work for the season. At this time a commitment is made for three hours of work per week on Wednesday or Saturday mornings. The farm is divided into 10 working areas, by crop. At least two memberships care for each area, one on Wednesdays and one on Saturday. All produce harvested is divided equally among workers on their work day.

Bertrand Farm is an educational farm working to connect people to their food to promote ethical and environmentally sound agricultural practices. We run a cooperative CSA during the growing season where members are involved in all stages of production, from ordering seed to harvesting and preserving. Each membership shares equally in the financial and labor commitment for the season. This year the cost of a full membership is $150. and the work commitment is 3 hours per week. The farm is divided into 10 work areas, by crop, with at least two memberships per area. The harvest is divided equally among members at harvest time each work day. Quantities are grown for preserving produce as well. It is the responsibility of the member to harvest large quantities out side regular work hours.
