What We Believe:

We Believe in a New Testament Church

Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God... Upon this rock I will build my church. (Matthew 16:18)

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid , which is Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 3: 11)

We Believe in a New Testament Plan of Salvation.

Believe in Jesus. (Mark 16: 16; Acts 16: 31; Hebrews 11: 6)

Repent of Sins. (Acts 2: 38; 17:30; Luke 13: 3-5)

Confess our Faith. (Matthew 10: 32,33; Romans 10: 9, 10)

Be Baptized for the forgiveness of sins. (Acts 2: 38; Acts 22: 16; Romans 6: 1-11)

We Believe in observing New Testament Communion

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)

We Believe in observing New Testament Stewardship

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (II Corinthians 9:7)

We Believe in Living a New Testament Life Grow in grace. (II Peter 3:18)

Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
(Revelation 2:10)

Communion Service

Christ’s invitation to “Do this in memory of me” is for every Christian.

The apostle Paul wrote, “Let a man examine himself and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup...”

Our communion service is open to all Christians.

Invitation Hymn

We have an invitation hymn at the conclusion of our worship services. If you desire to respond, you may come forward during the invitation hymn.

The invitation hymn is for:

Anyone who desires to confess faith in Christ and be baptized for the remission of sins.

Any immersed believer who desires to transfer their membership from another congregation to Bethany.

Those who feel the need to rededicate their life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Those who desire special prayer.
