The Pickens County Educational Center, located in the historical town of Carrollton, Alabama, serves a vital role providing educational opportunities to the citizens of its service area.  Bevill State is proud of the growth at the new Center and continually works with the community as well as business and industry in the area for new programs and/or training demands.

History of the Center:

Bevill State has a long history of serving the citizens of west central Alabama and east Mississippi.  The College's first educational center, Brewer State Learning Assistance Center, opened in the 1980s with the mission of offering quality education to residents within a 50-mile radius of their home.  From those humble beginnings and with the strong support of the community, the Pickens County Educational Center has experienced tremendous growth.
