Blackhawk Intermediate School, home of the Blackhawk Bulldogs, where we recognize and celebrate the diversity of our student population. Our staff is committed and dedicated to meet the needs of all students.

Our school improvement goals will focus on reading, math, writing, and student behavior. In the area of reading, we are asking parents to join with students in reading at least one hour a day at home. With the use of the computer, parents can assist students by visiting the ISBE website to download practice ISAT math and reading tests, and writing prompts. Copies can also be requested from the school.
