We believe that Blue Ball ES is a very special place. We strive to create a school climate in which children, teachers, parents, and community members find a sense of belonging, safety and security and also experience personal success. We hope that our students are inspired to view learning as a lifelong process. The Blue Ball ES staff members are dedicated, caring professionals who are committed to children and the educational process. We believe in cooperative teamwork, drawing on each other's individual strengths and special talents to provide a comprehensive educational experience for our students. We strive to help each child achieve our school motto of: Be Your Best!

Blue Ball students participate in a wide variety of activities that include academic enrichment and intervention; vocal and instrumental music lessons; grade-level musical productions; Walk, Run, Jog for physical fitness before school; creative experiences through art lessons; Ambassadors - a service group for 5th and 6th grade students; and many PTO-sponsored events.Blue Ball Elementary also focuses the students' attention on developing good character. This year we will be nurturing the traits of Respect, Empathy, Responsibility, Compassion, Assertiveness, Trust, Courage, Ambition, and Forgiveness.We are fortunate to have an active parent community that supports the children in our school. Teachers and parents connect with each other in order to accomplish the primary role of working together to assure that each child learns. Parents also volunteer to support the Blue Ball PTO's activities and to engage in many supportive roles with the Blue Ball Helping Hands. With our PTO and volunteers, we are able to provide classroom support, publish student books and a student memory book, and offer several assemblies and field trips. There are several family social events planned this year including roller skating parties, an ice cream social, Christmas Corner, and a fun night.
