Our Beliefs:

We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God and final authority in all matters of Christian faith, life, and conduct.

We believe in a vital relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, that the only way of salvation and eternal life is through personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe in the Church of God as described in the Bible, and that being a Christian makes you a member of God's church.

We believe in the ministry of the local church, and that it is the organized working force of Christ, united for worship, service, fellowship and study.

We are a Bible centered, Bible preaching church that believes in the leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in freedom in our worship services as we lift up the Lord in prayer, exciting Bible preaching, inspiring singing - both congregational and specials.

We believe in Holy Communion around God's table together, from which no one that is saved is excluded.

We believe and practice footwashing in accordance with the example set by our Lord himself at the Last Supper.

We believe in divine healing and it is a regular part or our services.

Purpose Statement :

We, the people of the Church of God in Bonnie, IL, believe it is our purpose to combine our collective resources, i.e., time, money, gifts and talents, in order to:

Reach the lost through loving, caring, fellowship, evangelism

Love and heal the hurting

Help the needy of our fellowship and the community

Nurture the believers through worship, fellowship, instruction, and preaching

Grow together as the family of God
