Volunteer Opportunity with Break The Silence-Speak Out America Have. We are an organization that is working to Prevent and Stop Sexual Abuse to Children through Education and Awareness. Offer Help, Hope and Healing to the Survivors. 1 out 3 girls and 1 out of 6 boys are sexually abused every two minutes before the age of 18. There were a total of 471,867 students enrolled in Arkansas Schools 2012-2013. According to the statics 76,758 girls and 40,265 boys have been or will be sexual abused by the age of 18. After viewing these numbers-I pray that we will have your support to prevent and stop sexual abuse to children. I am a survivor of sexual abuse. We are working towards opening a Thrift Store in Little Rock to help fund our programs and a Resource Center. Our goals are to offer Counseling for the Survivors of Sexual Abuse, develop a Sexual Abuse Prevention curriculum for all the schools in Arkansas, offer Sexual Abuse Prevention training for teachers, parents, children and the community. Evidence suggests that, 95% of all sexual abuse is preventable with the proper Education and Awareness. A donor recently donated a building to our organization to house our Thrift store and programs. The building needs many extensive repairs. We are hosting a Make Difference Day Event for the month of  25th and 26th 2013.. On this day we will clean the interior and exterior, complete repairs, paint and etc the donated building and collect change from donors. We are in the need of volunteers to help with the work and raise funds for our organization.
