Bullhead City Lions Club

The Bullhead City Lions Club was chartered on May 8th, 2008.  Our primary objective is to assist children in need within our community with vision services.  We have partnered with Colorado River Eye Care in Bullhead City to provide these services. The Bullhead City Lions Club offers assistance to children in our local community including Bullhead City, AZ, Fort Mohave, AZ, Mohave Valley, AZ, and Laughlin, NV.

The International Association of Lions Clubs was started in Chicago by Melvin Jones on June 7, 1917, and was a consolidation of several independent clubs already in existence.  this was the founding of the most active, most representative, and largest service club organization in the world.

The purpose of a Lions Club is to determine community needs and to develop means of meeting them, either through their own efforts or in cooperation with other agencies.  Each year, Lions Clubs complete thousands of separate worthwhile humanitarian and community activities.

International Lionism is non-sectarian and non-political, yet it inspires a lively interest in governmental and civic affairs.  It is an active and efficient force for world service, exerting enormous influence for national welfare, international amity and peace, and social, cultural, and economic progress.  The prestige of Lions' work in all fields of service is recognized throughout the world.

The 1.35 million members of this volunteer organization in 206 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways, but share a core belief - community is what we make it.  At the same time, Lions Clubs provide good fellowship and social activities for their members.
