Every diploma bound student will be at or above grade level skill as defined in the County's Essential Curriculum. Every certificate student will master skills in line with his Individualized Education Plan.

Bushy Park is an award-winning school located in western Howard County, Maryland. We were the first school in Maryland to receive the United States Senate Productivity Award. Bushy Park was recently ranked sixth among the area's top 25 performing schools. The ranking was out of 395 Baltimore area elementaries and was based on student test scores and teacher certification. (Baltimore Sun, December 7, 2003).

Bushy Park serves over 700 students in preschool through grade 5. It includes a Regional Early Childhood Center that houses two Preschools and Multiple Intensity Needs Programs. The staff, parents, and community are partners in learning at Bushy Park!
