Cabrillo Elementary School has a strong commitment from the school community to continuously strive to improve academic achievement and emphasize strong self-esteem building programs for all students. The social needs of our students are also reflected in our academic and extracurricular programs.

Opportunities are given in a variety of activities to enhance social competency of all students, including Student Council, PALS (Prevention and Life Skills) Program, Interventions, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), Student of the Week, Caught Being Good, Principalís Honor Roll List, Gardening Club, Choir, Ballet Folklorico, Family Literacy Evenings, and Homework Club.

These programs combined with the excellence of a highly professional staff and supportive parent community create a positive and successful learning environment at Cabrillo Elementary School.
