Calvary Baptist Church was organized on February 13th of 1947 as a Sunday School for some children in the Whitmore Lake area. It has been an ever present lighthouse here in Whitmore Lake for over sixty years. Even in these changing times in which we live, Calvary, an Independent Fundamental Baptist church, has stayed with the old paths of the King James version of the Bible and conservative music. We also have an active visiting and outreach program so that we may share the good news of the Gospel.
