The passion and purpose of our church is captured in these 3 compelling words. They are simple, yet profound imperatives that summarize our response to God's love and Word.

Love. We are called to love as Jesus loved. God's commandments for our lives were summarized by Jesus Himself, when He affirmed that we are to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, mind and strength... and to love our neighbors as ourselves. (Luke 10:27-28) 

Live. We are driven to answer the call to "live out" in our daily lives what Christ has worked within. "Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that." Galatians 2:20 (Message) 

Lead. Leaders point the way. Like a light on a hill, they provide direction, reassurance, illumination of truth, and a desperately needed point of hope in an ever-darkening world. "You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand-shine!"
