Career Closet - Welfare to Work Foundation

0The Welfare to Work Foundation was formed in March 1997 by a group of business, religious, and volunteer organizations who wished to help individuals find their way from welfare to productive work. Brought together by Assemblywoman Sandra Galef, the Coalition welcomes new groups and individual volunteers who wish to participate in our programs or develop their own.

Career Closet - The Career Closet provides clothing appropriate for interviews and for office work for public assistance recipients actively moving from welfare to work. Clothing is provided by appointment on Saturday mornings at the Briarcliff Congregational Church located at the intersection of South State Road and Elm Street in Briarcliff Manor. The Career Closet is closed on holiday weekends and selected other Saturdays.

Donations of interview-appropriate women's clothing can be made at the Briarcliff Congregational Church located at the intersection of South State Road and Elm Street in Briarcliff Manor only on Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 11:30 am.
