Carriage Association Of America Carriage Festival

4075 Iron Works Parkway
859-231-0971

The Carriage Festival offers spectators the opportunity to see restored historic carriages driven in competition as they would have been at the turn of the century.  Competitors come from around the country to compete with everything from small pony carts to huge road coaches driven by teams of four horses.  A wide variety of beautiful turnouts compete over the three day event in the hopes of taking home championship awards.

The Carriage Festival is presented by the Carriage Association of America (CAA) which is a non-profit organization founded in 1960 and is the oldest and largest international organization devoted to the preservation and restoration of horse-drawn carriages and sleighs. The CAA has introduced thousands of people to the wonders of collecting these vehicles and the pleasures of driving them. We help our members discover the beauty and charm of a lifestyle that has all but vanished from our modern world.
