3rd Annual Castleford Classic's Car Show, August 11th and 12th 2007, at Jean's Park in Castleford, Idaho.
Burnouts, slow drags, boat show, street dance, horseshoe tournament, fire hose competition, Classes are 10/20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90/2000's, modified/stock, Best in show is the top award. Pickup's, import, jeep, motorcycle's, best burnouts (3 awards), slow drags (3 awards), Chicks choice, Dudes choice, Mayors choice, horseshoe (3 awards), best Ford, Chevy, Mopar, Pontiac. Will have raffle and 50/50 drawing's. Idaho bass federation seminars on casting and bean bag toss for the Kid's. But best of all is the show and shine!, also a poker run for cash prizes. Dash plaques and goody bags for every car entered. Over 40 car show awards this year.
Live music at the street dance Saturday night.
Camping and RV spots if needed. Food vendors and beer garden in the park. National Guard rock climbing wall for the brave.
Mud drags going on next to the car show, come watch the mud fly!
Saturday night FIREWORKS! It's Castleford's 100th birthday.
Last year we had 163 cars entered and over 3,000 foot traffic in town.
N.S.R.A. safety inspector on site for free inspection's if you wish.
New classes are added this year for El Camino/Ranchero, 4 x 4 sport utility(blazer/bronco), commercial truck, specialty class, long distance, club participation, and under construction.
