About Us
The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck (known familiarly as The CENTER, and legally as Rhinebeck Performing Arts, Inc. or RPA) is a non-profit arts organization which offers performances and classes throughout the year. Performing and teaching artists are of local, national and international talent.

The CENTER serves as a regular performance venue for local theater companies including the Rhinebeck Theatre Society (Kiss Me Kate, The Boyfriend) , the Gilbert & Sullivan Musical Theater Company (H.M.S. Pinafore, Pirates of Penzance), Rhinebeck Unplugged Student Theater (Joseph...), Up In One Productions (Annie), and New Day Repertory Company. The CENTER also hosts appearances by artists such as David Arner, Elaine Colandrea, Donovan, Natalia Gutman, Alpin Hong, Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger, Paul Taylor 2 Dance Company, Pinetop Perkins, Pitchfork Militia, John Sebastian, Soñando, Tanglewood Marionettes, David Temple, and Artie Traum, to name a few.
