Chaparral Christian Church was founded on January 8, 1978, with about 70 people joining Marion and me at Chaparral High School for the first service. Since that time we have worked to bring the love of God to our northeast valley community. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but with a singleness of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Bible is our only rule of faith and practice. The Lord's Supper, which we observe every week, is open to all who accept Jesus as their Lord. We try to meet the spiritual needs of children, youth and adults. Bible study classes are available for all ages, and a great number of opportunities for fellowship are offered. We want you to feel that this is your family of God and for you to reach out to others.
