Christ Church Cathedral

318 East Fourth Street

At Christ Church Cathedral, we strive to be a center of compassion and justice that translates into action. Service to others is our natural response to the love that God gives us in Jesus. Our horizon includes the Diocese of Southern Ohio, the city of Cincinnati, and the world beyond.

I'm a recent addition to this church. I love this church for its open-mindedness, inclusion of everyone in the community, and its diversity. This church also does a lot for the poor/homeless folks of Cincinnati. I've never been to a place that honors the spirit of the bible's teachings so purely. They walk the walk. I'm so glad that my wife and I stumbled upon this church.

Lovely historic cathedral, inviting people. Inclusive services. Have been a tradition in my family over 35 years. The music is top notch, organ , choir, and brass and drum musicians. Very appropriate for Easter Service. Message from pulpit( or this year from the front of church) is always timely, sometimes innovative. A brunch is served that is really fresh and filling. Few restaurants could rival the quality . I know I mentioned music but this year was really great ( even if I missed hearing Widor's taccata) It looks like there are additional organists sharing roles on the esthetically pleasing and unmatched historic pipe organ . Regular services are not as grand, but well worth the trip. The church itself has wonderful community, country and world outreach programs. Along with special events, and concerts to bring you back to cathedral serveral over and over.

Just so you know, it's an Episcopal church. The people are friendly, service is great. Lots of volunteer opportunities.
