Genoa is an award winning community in the heart of Illinois' historic and beautiful Kishwaukee River Valley. Since 1996 we have been an Illinois Main Street designated community. Illinois Main Street began in 1993, as a preservation based, economic development program sponsored by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs.
