City of Olmsted Falls

26100 Bagley Road
440-235-5550

Since 1972 Olmsted Falls has been governed as a charter city, and operates under a Mayoral & Council form of government. The Mayoral & Council form is a system of local government that combines the strong political leadership of elected officials and the Mayor serves as Chief Executive Officer of the City, Safety Director and the Economic Development Director for the city.

Downtown Olmsted Falls offers a unique range of shops in its restored vintage commercial district of Grand Pacific Junction and Mill River Plaza.  Olmsted Falls is home to thriving greenhouses and a wide variety of recreational activities are available to all residents.  The City provides year-round family enjoyment and a scenic backdrop.  Family activities include Bike Night in the Falls, Farmers Markets, Movie Night in the Park, Evening in the Falls, Vintage Marketplace, Heritage Days, and Concerts in the Park during the summer.  Autumn months bring Falls Day in the Park. Winding down the year is a Vintage Christmas open house in downtown Olmsted Falls and the City of Olmsted Falls hosts a good old fashion picturesque Tree Lighting ceremony in December.  Information relative to all of these great events can be found here on the City of Olmsted Falls website.

The City features 4 parks and 2 playfields one with a splash pad and the west branch of Rocky River runs through our city.  Olmsted Falls will be touting a new home for our senior program in the newly renovated Jenkins Place. Jenkins Place is now located in the Olmsted Falls municipal campus. This state of the art senior center will soon be the envy of the region.  The Olmsted Falls City School district prides itself on outstanding academic programs.
