Mission:

Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation's mission is to support the Medical Center's promise to deliver high quality, compassionate healthcare, and to improve the health and well-being of the communities it serves.

The Foundation is accountable to the trust that donors place in it and is committed to serving as a responsible steward of funds contributed for the Medical Center.

Who We Are:

Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.  The Foundation is committed to helping donors fulfill their personal charitable and financial planning goals while providing needed support to the Medical Center.

Over the past several years, the Foundation has worked with donors to accomplish many important initiatives, including: the renovation and redecoration of the Radiation Oncology Department; the expansion of the Emergency Department; The Tranquility Garden; creating private maternity suites and a new parent education room; a cafeteria renovation; and the Room of Healing, a place where cancer patients and their families can find respite during hospitalization.

What We Do:

The Foundation plays an integral role in raising funds for the facilities, programs and services offered by Clara Maass Medical Center. Through a variety of giving opportunities, Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation works with donors to support the many projects that help enhance the health and quality of life in our communities.  Foundation staff and Board Members are happy to collaborate with friends ranging from major corporate partners to local groups and individuals to identify that special project that speaks to their heart.

About Us:

For 140 years, Clara Maass Medical Center has been providing accessible and compassionate healthcare to all those who turn to us for help.  And since the very beginning, the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations has made a difference to the hospital's ability to deliver high quality, compassionate healthcare that keeps pace with the latest advances in technology and medicine.

Today, the tradition continues through a variety of giving opportunities that include annual gifts, planned gifts, tributes and special events. Whether it is a significant charitable bequest or the thoughtfulness of a child who collects coins to buy toys for hospitalized children, Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation deeply appreciates all philanthropic acts that benefit the Medical Center.
