Sunset Horse Riding California RanchThere are many terms to describe our ranch; dude ranch, vacation ranch, horseback riding ranch and so on but the one term that best describes our ranch is Guest Ranch. The people who visit us are our guests and we treat each and every one as such, catering to their every need and making sure that they enjoy their stay from howdy to adios.

A taste of southern hospitality blended in with old west culture to make a relaxing and enjoyable stay to all who come. For 113 years we have been taking in guests who leave as friends! If it’s a guest ranch vacation that you are wanting to experience, then our staff here at Coffee Creek Ranch will make your stay one that you will truly enjoy. From our international children’s counselors, “perky” wait staff to our Western wrangler they will take care of your family and you!

Horseback Riding: Coffee Creek has every imaginable Dude Ranch amenity, with the most popular activity still being Horseback Riding. The ranch breeds its own AQHA and Paints. Typically, two rides a day are scheduled, and rides are divided by ability level. Private lessons can also be scheduled. Breakfast rides are the most popular, with the all-day “wilderness ride” to a lake the most spectacular! For a unique riding experience, the all-day ride may be extended into an overnight pack trip returning the next day.

If horseback riding is your pleasure and nature is your love, our miles of trails will surely satisfy. We have access to 833 miles of trails that lead through some breath taking scenery, the waterfall and Sugar Pine Lake rides are well worth the trip with picture-postcard views of the Trinity Alps Wilderness area. Plus 17 miles of the PCT( Pacific Crest Trail).
