History and Mission:

The Color Camera Club of Westchester, Inc., was founded December 21, 1951. It's purpose is to sponsor and support organized activities for the benefit of camera hobbyists, improve their skills, and increase their personal enjoyment. A special effort is made to help out new photographers.

Since its founding, club members have achieved worldwide recognition by exhibiting their work in International salons (Competitions). They have served both locally and internationally by participating in photographic councils, the Photographic Society of America (PSA), and the International Federation of Photographic Art (IFPA). In addition, members have lectured, presented workshops, and judged competitions in the United States and overseas.

About Us:

The Color Camera Club of Westchester, serving photographers here in Westchester County since the early 1950s, was founded to sponsor and support activities for the camera enthusiast. Our purpose is to help beginning and advanced photographers learn photographic skills that will increase their artistic ability and their pleasure of photography.  We have weekly meetings on most Monday nights at 8 PM (doors open at 7:30 pm) where professionals and advanced photographers present educational and artistic programs designed to further the proficiency of our members and guests, open creative visions and inspire.

The CCCW is a member of the Westchester Council for the Arts, as well as the Photographic Society of America and participates in gallery exhibits throughout Westchester on a regular basis.

Our weekly programs are free, and refreshments are served. You will find our activities to be fun, educational and entertaining. We also present workshops, take field trips and travel to interesting locations for weekend photographic excursions.  Our new mentoring program is a major benefit for those wanting to further their photo imaging skills.
