Crum Creek CSA
A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a shared commitment between the consumer and the farmer. When you sign up for a share you dedicate yourself to being our customer for the season, providing us a secure market- a welcome measure of certainty in the fickle business of farming. We in turn, dedicate ourselves to providing you with quality, healthy meats. You can be assured that our animals are humanely raised under the best possible conditions by farmers who truly enjoy farming.
How our CSA works -Shares are purchased on a first come basis.
-Bulk orders and 20lb bundles will be filled throughout the year, in the order received, as meat becomes available.Each month the shareholders receive a 5lb assortment of meat which will vary each month. We will try to take into account your preferences, so please let us know. Please be aware, however, that you cannot have all steak as a cow is made up of a lot of hamburger.Half the cost of the order (for bulk orders, the full deposit) is due upon receipt of order, with remaining balance due at the first pickup.
Orders can be picked up at our farm; we will call to verify a time. Remember to bring coolers with you. Delivery is available for an additional fee .As a share is a commitment on both our parts, we are not able to refund your money if you decide you do not want to continue with your season. However, we can transfer your share to another person (payment would be between the two of you. In the unlikely event that meat or eggs are not available to fill your order this season (ex. The chickens stop laying) you may choose either to receive a refund of the remainder of your order or to put a deposit on the next season.
