CBC is a small, loving family of believers, ethnically and socially diverse, having the common ground of the L.A. culture.

We are a nontraditional, praying fellowship striving to be Christ centered. Nontraditional meaning we prayerfully gather around those in need. Likewise believers are encouraged to share what God has laid on their hearts. We believe the Bible teaches us that we are the body; all gifted, all valuable, with Christ as our head.

Our vision is to impact our community through involvement. We long to live out Luke 4: 18, "...to preach the good news to the poor, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, to recover sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord?s favor.?

We desire to meet others where they are and tell them the stories of how Christ has changed and continues to change our lives. We long to bring Christ to them and their families. We desire converts, not ?church growth.? With the right team we believe God will affirm our efforts and bless our ministry.

We believe the Bible is truly the Word of God and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
