Cummings Memorial UMC

3 Banner Farm Road

Cummings Memorial UMC is a loving, caring congregation that welcomes all persons to worship, learn and grow as followers of Jesus Christ and to respond in service to others.

About Us:

Our church family includes native Henderson County residents as well as those who have moved into the area and fallen in love with it! Come worship, outreach to the community, and fellowship with us!

Our Sunday worship service is at 11:00 am. This is a traditional United Methodist service. Our congregation dresses in a variety of styles from dressy to jeans. Everyone is welcome because God loves you, not your clothes!

Music during worship is primarily from the The United Methodist Hymnal and The Faith We Sing hymn book. Our choir sings a variety of music to compliment the service. Choir practice is held Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.

Adult Sunday School is usually held on Sunday at 9:45 am. Times sometimes vary depending on the area of study. Our events calendar will list the current class time.

Church can happen anywhere. It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.
