History:

The church was started in 1875 east of Dallas Center.On July 23, 1910 the church council voted to have all regular meetings in town at the new church. A building lot had been purchased from the Andrew Wise estate for $1000. The Wise home was moved to the southeast part of town at 805 9th St. The new church building located at 1207 Ash Ave. was ready for dedication on August 7, 1910. Elder I.N.H. Beahm of Nokesville, VA, was the dedication speaker. This Sunday was followed by two weeks of evangelistic meetings with Elder Beahm, the minister and his brother, J.C. Beahm, the song leader. Eleven converts were baptized in the new baptistery. The church cost $7000 and was debt-free in December of 1910. 


The Dallas Center Church of the Brethren celebrated its Centennial in 1975.
