This facility was brand new in 1998. It houses approximately 550 students in grades Kindergarten through sixth.

Recently, the New Jersey School Board Association awarded The Dawes Avenue School with the 18th Annual School Leader Award. This award given for the Integrated Arts Program exemplifies the districts hard work and dedication to innovative and educational programs.
