Daybreak Community Church seeks to serve our community by providing it with opportunities for spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, and cultural development. We seek to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. (Luke 2:52, Matthew 22:36-40, and Matthew 28:18-20)

Pastor Jason Graves, a native Southern Californian, met his wife, Corri, at Life Pacific University while earning his Bachelor of Theology degree. They both served on staff with Jack Hayford at The Church On The Way, in the Children's Ministry Department until 1998 when they moved to Ventura, CA to become associate pastors at Horizon Foursquare Church. Early in 2001, the Lord led them down to North San Diego County to plant a family-friendly church. In 2006, Jason and most of his congregation joined Daybreak Community Church.

Jason and Corri live in Carlsbad with their three children, Benjamin, Cameron, and Annelise who keep them on their toes. Jason enjoys surfing, loud music, and playing with his boys at the beach. Corri likes quiet music, and spends her free time (what's that?) playing piano and watching romantic movies. Most of all, they are passionate about helping families grow closer to each other and God.

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for our beliefs. This church accepts “The Baptist Faith and Message,” a 1963 affirmation of basic Christian beliefs, as general statement of faith.
